William Dane b.? d.? m. Unknown ch= 1
John Dane, widower, came to Roxbury 1636, with three children from his marriage to Francis Bowyer ch=3: Francis Dane, Elizabeth Dane, and John Dane, Jr. John Dane Sr. married second Annis (Alcock) Chandler, widow of Wm. Chandler. William and Annis Alcock Chandler of Roxbury . In 1649, John Dane Sr. was granted ownership of the homestead of William Chandler, whose widow, John Dane Sr. married. Home of William Chandler Annis Alcock Chandler Dane survived John Dane, and married as her third husband, Deacon John Paramenter, whose first wife was Bridget Henchman. See the following hyperlink for some descendants of William Chandler and Annis Alcock Chandler Dane Chandler Dane See the following hyperlinks on the descendants of Annis and Deacon John Paramenter: Paramenter Family Association Annis Chandler Dane Paramenter and http://webpages.charter.net/mroman/parmente.htm John Dane was buried at Roxbury 14 September 1658. Annis Alcock Chandler Dane Paramenter's son, William Chandler II, stepson of John Dane Sr., married John Dane Jr.'s daughter, Mary Clark Dane, who would be the granddaughter of John Dane Sr. of Roxbury. Abraham Daynes' eldest daughter, Johanna Daynes married Daniel Parmenter (son of Joseph and Mary Marsh Parmenter), whose son, Daniel Parmenter b. August 17, 1699, Stonington, New London, and who died aft. March 16, 1742/43, Norwich, CT married Mary Eames/Ames, June 29, 1725, Franklin 1st Congregational Church, Norwich, CT. I believe Joseph and Daniel Parmenter are (grandson and great-grandson) of the immigrant Deacon John Parmenter and his first wife, Bridget (she died 6 April 1660) through their son, John Paramenter, who was born in England and came to New England with his parents. If I am not in error, I believe that William Chandler's widow Annis Alcock was a cousin of Joshua Hempstead, Sr., whose son Joshua Hempstead (1678-1758) is the author of the Diary of Joshua Hempstead. Annis Alcock is supposed the sister of Deacon George Alcock. George Alcock's sister certainly was Elizabeth Alcock Whitehead and their brother was certainly, Thomas Alcock. Elizabeth Alcock Whitehead's sons Thomas Whitehead and John Whitehead were nephews of Thomas Alcock whose brother was George Alcock of Roxbury. George Alcock died 30 December 1640. Thomas Alcock had died prior to the arrival of his nephews. The year was 1639. John Whitehead lived with Francis Hall and later with Jasper Crane who bought suit against Francis Hall for sundry items amongst them money owed to John Whitehead. The great granddaughter of Elizabeth Whitehead was Mercy Luddington who married my ancestor, Ebenezer Dains/Daynes/Deans. John Dane Sr. of Roxbury sailed with the Rev. Nathaniel Rogers, who arrived in New England on 17 November 1636. Thomas Crane (died 1654), son of Robert Crane was the brother in law of Rev. Nathaniel Rogers, who married his sister, Margaret Crane. Margaret Crane's Rogers's father Robert Crane willed 400£ to Margaret Rogers and a house in Roxbury, MA with 4 acres of land with a bond of 150£ from Joshua Foote. Crane Goulding Markant 1644
